Experienced Deep Tech Advisor
Hanadi is passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation. She supports early-stage businesses across a range of sectors with a focus on healthcare and Deep-Tech. Her ability to act as a technology translator and to align vision and strategy with operational constraints are key to her high success rate. Her work to support entrepreneurs earned her recognition as one of the Maserati100 in 2016, and as top 20 Asians Tech Pioneers in 2020. Her stakeholder management skills and her clear leadership make her an effective Chair allowing her to develop a portfolio of non-executive directorships alongside her executive roles. She is a seasoned start-up advisor, angel investor and non-exec.

Founder and Director of Accelerate Cambridge
In 2012, Hanadi was the inspiration and driving force behind the creation of Accelerate Cambridge, addressing the commercialisation gap at the University of Cambridge, designing, founding and scaling a programme designed to better support the creation of meaningful ventures by upskilling founding teams and exploring business models; 180 ventures in 6 years, over £250m raised, over 1.3bn valuation.
Director of the Barclays Scale Up UK programme
Developed and Designed a programme at the Cambridge Judge Business School to address the SME equity gap in the UK, partnering with Barclays to roll it out nationally, with a regional focus. Impacted 180 SMEs across industry over 3 years.
Managing Director CMS Ventures
Since January 2019, Hanadi has centred her work around the investment needs of early stage ventures and more specifically, the funding gap in the UK for ambitious Deeptech businesses. Raised £25m from one LP, China Medical Systems (CMS) to address the biotech and Life Sciences early stage equity gap in the UK. CMS Ventures is an early-stage investor based in Cambridge investing in Biotech & Life Sciences start-ups in the UK with a focus on the 4Ds (Drugs, Devices, Diagnostics, and Digital) and privileged access to international markets, in particular China.
Born in Lebanon and raised in France, she is fluent in English, French and Arabic while speaking another four languages. Currently living in Cambridge with her four children, you can catch Hanadi walking her two eccentric dogs or rowing on the river.
